Muscle cars sweep top spots in Cambria Chamber's Annual Car & Motorcycle Show

The Cambria Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, October 15th. We had a fascinating variety of vehicles, including a 50-year old Datsun, a 1992 Nissan Figaro, beauties from the 1930s, and an Infinity Vaydar from this decade.

Thomas Southwick
"We had several beautiful motorcycles. The proud owners and lots of visitors enjoyed seeing the different vehicular works of art. Even though the sun did not shine, the day was perfect for all the many people and dogs who came," said Lorienne Schwenk, executive director of the Cambria Chamber of Commerce.

The event featured 46 entries.
  • Best in Show: Thomas Southwick - '57 Chevrolet Bel Air
  • Second Place: Cindy Kennedy - '70 Dogdge Challenger
  • Third Place: Abel Tangre - '68 Pontiac Firebird
The Chamber sold out of the specialty shirts for the event but enthusiasts can stop by the chamber to purchase stickers or a hat from the show.

We want to thank our generous sponsors for helping us put on this event: Mel McColloch, Consultant; Lee Borchard Concrete; Dean Sullivan, Estero Bay News; Debra Lynn Henno Designer; Cruise Control Cambria Art Gallery; Ebb & Flow; Ocean Heir; and Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill.
