Morro Bay sergeant promoted to commander

Sergeant Tony Mosqueda was promoted to the position of Police Commander by the Morro Bay Police Department. 

Starting his law enforcement career in 2005, Mosqueda worked in various capacities at the Farmersville Police Department before joining the Morro Bay Police Department in 2014. He steadily rose through the ranks, becoming a sergeant in 2015 and taking on roles such as Range Master and Acting Commander. 

Mosqueda expressed his enthusiasm for continuing his career with the Morro Bay Police Department and serving both the community and his colleagues. 

Outside of work, he resides in Atascadero with his wife and four children, enjoying activities such as barbecuing, watching sports, and indulging in deep-sea fishing in Morro Bay.
